Rita Merlini believes that everything she creates is the expression of a simple story, linked to this wonderful land, its colors and traditions, and that at the same time, transformation, growth and constant research. Each bag comes from a pencil drawing, usually during her travels, taking inspiration from the beauty of the fishing villages, their colorful houses and scenery overlooking the sea. The bags take are made in villages in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Lands of olive groves, vineyards, isolated villages, and ancient roads, where beauty and creativity merge. All processes, from weaving to embroidery, are handmade and weavings are made with irregular strips, hand cut one by one. Unique and original textures are the hallmark of a brand that invests in quality and tradition, combining continuous research and innovation.
