The Original Tula Girl…

We would like to introduce you all to the original Tula Girl, the owner and creator of Tula, the fabulous Kate Hannah.  Kate opened the store because of her love of fashion and knowledge working in retail, and has managed to bring the chicest of boutiques to the lovely ladies of Fort Collins.  Kate loves creating a mix of clothing and accessories to tell a story for each new season in the store.  She draws inspiration from the street, designers, and even her adorable 8-year-old daughter Lucy.  Kate loves all of the merchandise in the store, because she would wear it all herself!  Some of her favorite brands include Rag and Bone, Free People, and NSF.  When she’s not in the store she loves hanging with her husband JJ and her beautiful kids Jack and Lucy.  We hope you all love Kate as much as we do!

You can never go wrong with a good belt, Tula Girls.  A belt can give a simple tank and jeans an edgy flair, like this look on the left; 7 for all Mankind coated skinnies, Alternative V-neck Tee and Free People Sweater. Adding this vintage Old Stud belt gives the outfit an instant cool factor.  This Free People sweater skirt with fun fringe and basic neutral top is boho rocker chic, with the addition of this Old Stud Moto belt.  Add a belt to your favorite dress, jeans, or skirt for a put together look.

Three New Ways to Wear Your Scarf…

S

Scarves are the perfect accessory for this winter; and here at Tula, we like the idea of wearing our scarves a little diffferently.

Way #1: Why not wear your larger scarf as a wrap? Like this Faliero Sarti Debry Scarf, giving this outfit a cool bohemian vibe.

Way #2:  Wear your scarf as a top! Under a blazer or sweater, this Faliero Sarti Ariel Scarf can be transformed and make a perfect going-out top.

Way #3:  Lastly, knot your favorite scarf around a bag in the back of your closet for a new fun twist!  We especially love thisFaliero Sarti Journeaux Scarf, adding a pop of print to the Jerome Dreyfuss Carlos bag.

Get creative and have some fun with your scarves this winter, Tula Girls!  And come into Tula for an assortment of fabulous scarves.

We hope you love them as much as we do!
